Rainforest World Music Festival 2009

This massive annual music festival is happening once again at the Sarawak Cultural Village, Santubong, Sarawak from July 10-12, 2009. Into its 11th year, you'd be awed by fantastic tribal-ly music handpicked from all around the world, and indigenous bands from the depths of Borneo. By day, informative workshops,lectures, mini concerts and jamming sessions will be held, but as night falls, the music concert is staged in the lush rainforest to set the tropical mood. Though I haven't been to one, I'm making it a point to make a trip to Kuching this time to witness this music festival! Besides, Airasia and Malaysia Airlines are having incredibly low domestic airfares to East Malaysia. It is advisable to book accommodations and flights right NOW as people from all around the world will be swarming over to Kuching for this festival !
